Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026 · Effective: March 2026
What this means in plain language: By using Raydiac, you agree to these terms. The platform is for verified medical professionals only. You must be NMC-registered to participate as a radiologist. Patient data must be anonymised. Raydiac is not liable for the clinical content of consultations or reports — the participating professionals are responsible for their own clinical opinions. The marketplace is a facilitation service, not an employment relationship.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using the Raydiac platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and [Company Legal Name] (“Raydiac”, “we”, “us”).
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Medical Disclaimer, and Acceptable Use Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Radiologist users
To register as a radiologist on Raydiac, you must:
- Hold a valid MBBS degree from a recognised Indian medical institution
- Hold a postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiology, DNB Radiology, DMRD, or equivalent)
- Be currently registered with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council
- Provide accurate information at registration, including your correct NMC registration number
2.2 Diagnostic center users
To register as a diagnostic center or hospital on Raydiac, you must:
- Be a legally registered business entity in India
- Hold a valid AERB licence for the imaging modalities you operate
- Provide accurate business registration and contact details
2.3 Age restriction
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
3. Account Registration and Verification
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Raydiac verifies radiologist credentials against the NMC Indian Medical Register. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where verification fails or where fraudulent credentials are discovered.
You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
4. The Platform — What It Is and Is Not
4.1 What the Platform is
Raydiac is a professional collaboration platform for registered medical practitioners. It facilitates:
- Peer-to-peer case consultation between verified radiologists (Community features)
- Outsourced radiology reporting between diagnostic centers and verified radiologists (Marketplace)
All users of the Platform are registered medical practitioners. The Platform operates as a professional networking and marketplace facilitation service.
4.2 What the Platform is not
- Raydiac is not a telemedicine platform for patient consultations. No patient may register or use the Platform. No clinical opinion delivered through the Platform constitutes a patient consultation or a formal medical report to a patient.
- Raydiac is not an employer of radiologists. Marketplace transactions are between centers and radiologists as independent professional service providers. Raydiac facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the clinical relationship.
- Raydiac is not a registered medical institution and does not provide clinical advice.
5. Community Features — Radiologist Users
5.1 Case posting
When you post a case on the community feed or send a Quick Consult, you confirm that:
- The patient data has been fully anonymised before upload
- You have appropriate authority or consent to share the imaging for professional consultation
- The case is posted for genuine professional educational or consultative purposes
- You will not post any case containing identifying patient information
5.2 Responses and opinions
Clinical opinions shared on the community feed or through Quick Consult are professional peer exchanges between registered practitioners. They:
- Do not constitute a formal radiology report
- Do not create a doctor-patient relationship between the responding radiologist and the patient
- Are shared under the professional judgement of the responding radiologist
- Should be treated as one professional opinion to be weighed alongside your own clinical judgement
Raydiac does not verify the clinical accuracy of any opinion shared on the community feed.
5.3 Teaching File
Your Teaching File is your personal clinical library. Cases saved to your Teaching File may include cases posted by other users. By sharing cases or collections from your Teaching File with other users, you confirm that the underlying imaging has been anonymised and that you have authority to share it.
6. Marketplace — Terms for Both Parties
6.1 Nature of marketplace transactions
The Raydiac marketplace facilitates direct transactions between diagnostic centers (“Centers”) and radiologists (“Reporting Radiologists”). Raydiac is the facilitating platform, not a party to the clinical engagement. The reporting radiologist is an independent professional service provider, not an employee of Raydiac or the center.
6.2 Center obligations
When posting a case on the marketplace, centers agree to:
- Provide complete and accurate clinical history — a minimum of 50 characters is enforced by the platform
- Upload the complete DICOM study, not key images only
- Ensure the imaging has been appropriately deidentified in accordance with applicable law
- Have sufficient prepaid credit to cover the posted case fee
- Review submitted reports promptly and within the 2-hour clarification window
- Use the platform's clarification mechanism for any queries — not direct personal contact with the radiologist
6.3 Radiologist obligations
When accepting a marketplace case, radiologists agree to:
- Complete the report within the committed urgency tier deadline
- Use the structured reporting template for the relevant study type
- Produce a complete, clinically accurate report to the professional standard expected of a radiologist with their stated qualifications
- Notify the platform immediately if they are unable to complete an accepted case within the deadline
- Not share patient imaging data outside the Platform
6.4 Report acceptance and payment
Payment is released to the radiologist when the center accepts the submitted report. Centers have a 2-hour clarification window from report submission to raise specific clinical queries. After this window, the report is considered accepted.
Payment releases via UPI to the radiologist's registered UPI ID. Raydiac deducts a platform commission (current rate available at raydiac.in/pricing) before disbursement.
GST-compliant invoices are auto-generated on each completed transaction.
6.5 TDS obligations
Payments to radiologists through the Raydiac marketplace may be subject to TDS under Section 194J of the Income Tax Act 1961 (payments to professionals). Raydiac will comply with applicable TDS obligations where required.
6.6 Dispute resolution for marketplace cases
If a center believes a submitted report is materially deficient, they must raise a specific, substantiated clinical query within the 2-hour clarification window. Raydiac will facilitate communication between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved, Raydiac may, at its sole discretion, withhold payment pending review. Raydiac's decision in such disputes is final.
Raydiac does not accept liability for the clinical accuracy of any marketplace report. Clinical liability rests with the reporting radiologist.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your credentials
- Post patient-identifiable data in any form
- Use the Platform for patient consultations of any kind
- Post clinical content that is knowingly inaccurate or misleading
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Attempt to circumvent the platform's payment system by arranging direct payments for marketplace cases
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Platform
- Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable Indian law
- Post advertising, promotional content, or sponsored material of any kind
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Platform IP
Raydiac owns all intellectual property rights in the Platform, including its code, design, branding, and functionality. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our written consent.
8.2 User content
You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform (cases, responses, templates, Teaching File entries). By posting content, you grant Raydiac a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Platform. This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, subject to our data retention obligations.
8.3 Report templates
Templates submitted to the community template library are contributed on a community-shared basis. By submitting a template, you grant Raydiac and other platform users a non-exclusive licence to use and adapt the template for professional reporting purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
Raydiac provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Raydiac is not liable for:
- The clinical accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of any opinion, consultation, or report delivered through the Platform
- Any clinical outcome arising from reliance on a peer consultation or marketplace report
- Loss of data due to technical failure (though we take reasonable precautions to prevent this)
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Raydiac, its directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms
- Your breach of any applicable professional, regulatory, or legal obligation
- Your clinical opinion or report delivered through the Platform
- Any claim that content you posted infringes a third party's rights
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. On account closure, your profile and public content are removed. Teaching File entries, Quick Consult records, and marketplace history are retained for the periods specified in the Privacy Policy.
Raydiac may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, if your NMC registration lapses or is revoked, or if we believe your continued use poses a risk to other users or the Platform.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Chandigarh, India. The arbitration shall be conducted in English by a sole arbitrator.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by posting a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
